Tyler also edited the video alongside Elizabeth Saltzman. “It’s kind of crazy directing your own music video when you are also singing on it, playing the drums, editing the cut, and creating the visual effects. Set to release September 20th, TRANSFORMERS ONE features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, with Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm. Kanye West has reunited with his former manager, John Monopoly.

According to Billboard, Monopoly discovered Ye in the early ’90s and worked alongside Gee Roberson and Kyambo “Hip-Hop” Joshua in the Roc-a-Fella days.

Ye announced and saluted Monopoly during a Vultures private party in L.A. The two will now tackle putting together a world tour, hoping for a launch in the forthcoming months. It would be Ye’s first tour since 2016’s Saint Pablo Tour.

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have gone back-to-back on top of the Billboard 200.

Billboard notes the album will take the top spot behind 75,000 equivalent album units moved in the second week. Vultures 1 is now the first album from West to spend multiple weeks at the top spot since his Watch the Throne album with JAY-Z.

During the tracking week ending on Feb. 22, Vultures 1 accumulated 75,000 units. Of these, 72,000 units were attributed to SEA (streaming equivalent albums), reflecting a decrease of 44% and totaling approximately 95.25 million on-demand official streams for the album’s songs. Meanwhile, album sales contributed 2,000 units, experiencing an 89% decline, and TEA (track equivalent albums) units accounted for 1,000 units, down by 25%.

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures 1 album has taken over the Billboard Hot 100. All 16 tracks from the album have made the chart.

You won’t be able to stream Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s “Good (Don’t Die)” on Spotify. The single was removed from the app following a Donna Summer Estate complaint.

According to Billboard, the single interpolated parts of Summer’s 1977 “I Feel Love.” After the release, the estate claimed copyright infringement and disapproved of the use.

“Kanye West… asked permission to use Donna Summer’s song I Feel Love, he was denied… he changed the words, had someone re sing it or used AI but it’s I Feel Love… copyright infringement!!!” the estate wrote online.

Earlier in the week, Ozzy Osbourne revealed he would not clear a sample for Ye and Ty Dolla Sign because the former was an “antisemite.”

Vic Mensa has just dropped his third major song of the year, titled “Eastside Girl,” under Roc Nation. Teaming up with fellow Grammy-nominated artist Ty Dolla $ign, the duo delivers a house-influenced anthem that harks back to Vic’s enduring love for the genre, which first manifested in his beloved 2014 single “Down On My Luck.”

Accompanying the single is a captivating music video directed by Danielle Alston and creatively overseen by Vic himself. In a playful and humorous twist, Vic portrays a pool hustler trying to charm a group of girls, but fate has a different plan for him. Shot in a pool hall on Chicago’s far west side, the video pays homage to “The Color of Money” and was inspired by a real-life game of pool played by Ty and Vic in Ty’s studio.

“Ty is one of my favorite musicians and people to collaborate with,” Vic said of the collaboration. “I pulled up to his studio to give him some of my weed brand 93BOYZ and he was working on a bunch of House music. When asked what separates this project from previous efforts RJ shared,

“This album is literally a transparent introduction of who I am outside of being an artist. I wanted people to really know me hence why it is self-titled after my government name. I took my time with this and didn’t want to just release music because people felt it was time. The new music needed

Yesterday, Dr. Dre officially released the 6 songs he made for “Grand Theft Auto Online: The Contract” on all streaming platforms as singles.

On “Gospel” featuring Eminem, the Beats mogul seemingly addresses his ex-wife’s divorce settlement.

The 56-year-old mega producer, rhymes, “N***a like me still here, motherf****r, go figure. Lookin’ for my next gold digger. This summer here gon’ be colder than winter.” Dre adds, “Already told you, I fold you like hundreds of billions, and you can go missing, put that on my children.”

Dr. Dre agreed to pay his ex-wife, Nicole Young $100 million as a part of their divorce settlement. Reportedly Dre was “delighted” that he had to only pay a fraction of his estate. Nicole attempted to contest a prenuptial agreement in the divorce that she filed from Dre that ended their 25 years of marriage. That agreement protected Dre from splitting half his estate and the responsibility of spousal support, amongst other assets.

The former member of N.W.A shared his exclusive Grand Theft Auto singles to the world just ahead of his set at the 2022 Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. The big event is scheduled to take place February 13, at L.A.’s SoFi Stadium. This year Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar will headline the show.

“The opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show, and to do it in my own backyard, will be one of the biggest thrills of my career,” The Chronic producer shared in a statement. “I’m grateful to Jay-Z, Roc Nation, the NFL, and Pepsi as well as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. The go-to Hip-Hop and R&B crooner was interviewed by Tallie Spencer for Hot Freestyle and revealed that Shady is his GOAT and he is looking to work with him in the future.

“I have not done a song with Eminem yet,” Ty$ said. “Which I would love to. He’s the GOAT for sure.

“I always said like the only rapper that I think is better than Eminem is Slim Shady. So yeah it will happen for sure. What up, Em? Holla at me.”

This week, Ty Dolla $ign released his latest album Featuring Ty Dolla $ign. Amid the high of an album release, Snoop Dogg took the time to give Ty$ his flowers.

In an interview with Power 106, Ty$ said that Snoop Dogg called him the “reincarnation of Nate Dogg.” Even after his death in 2011, Nate Dogg is still regarded as the “King Of Hooks.” Now it seems as if Snoop has passed that honor over to Ty$.

“I feel blessed, I feel honored,” Ty said. “Nate Dogg was carrying a huge torch and he passed it down. I just talked to my other homie, and he told me he talked to Snoop on his birthday, and Snoop said I was the reincarnation of Nate Dogg. When I heard that, I was like, alright, Snoop saying it? That means everything. Like I said, it’s an honor and I feel blessed to carry that torch. It’ll be passed on again. I just encourage for the next artist out there, be yourself—be a one of one.”

Throughout his career, Ty$ has been compared to Nate Dogg. People often say that without Nate Dogg, there would have been no Ty Dolla $ign. No matter how true that might be, it is still a great honor to be deemed the reincarnation of Nate Dogg by Uncle Snoop.

SZA has overnight released the surprise new single “Hit Different”’ featuring Ty Dolla $ign on the infectious hook on Top Dawg Entertainment and RCA Records (Sony Music Entertainment). The track is produced by legendary production duo The Neptunes (Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo) and marks SZA’s very welcome return to releasing new music after a couple of year’s hiatus – with the notable exception of a string of singles she has worked on with the likes of DJ Khaled, Justin Timberlake, The Weekend, Travis Scott and Post Malone in recent times.

T-Pain is on the fence of releasing his song with Tory Lanez.

The Toronto entertainer has been in headlines recently after being arrested in Los Angeles last Sunday for gun possession, while in the company of Megan Thee Stallion. The “Savage” rapper was shot twice in the foot, while in the car with Tory. It was later revealed that the “Jerry Sprungher” artist was the alleged shooter. The shocking news certainly sent social media into a frenzy. Megan Thee Stallion broke her silence last Monday to clarify the entire situation. Close associates to the Houston rapper have insinuated that Tory being the culprit.

While the pending investigation continues, the world would like to know the conclusion, including T-Pain. The Tallahassee, FL native, and Lanez linked up for the Chixtape 5 lead single, “Jerry Sprungher.” Apparently, Pain has more music in the stash with Tory but is indecisive until there is the definitive word on his status.

“Aight so what’s the temperature on Tory because I was just bout to drop a song with him and $,” tweeted T-Pain.

He goes on to clarify confusion to what “$” is.

Oh y’all thought the “$” meant like I paid him or somethin nah. I Was saying him and Ty$. My bad. Mix up.”

The public is in no mood to hear music from Tory Lanez until this investigation concludes. It is understandable that Pain simply wants everything to be copacetic. In this instance, it would be advised to read the room.

As for Tory, we continue to monitor this story as it develops. He has yet to break his silence regarding the incident.

Ty Dolla $ign has posted a tribute visual to all the victims who were involved in police brutality, including George Floyd.

In Minneapolis, Floyd died when a police officer applied continuous pressure to his neck while handcuffed. Floyd can be heard on camera saying “I Can’t Breathe.”

South Central crooner, Ty Dolla $ign, has dedicated his 2016 single “No Justice” to the issues that still exist in America with police brutality and Black citizens.

In the video, he shows the people who were affected including Philando Castle, Kimani Gray, Rekia Boyd, Sean Bell, Freddie Gray, Tamir Rice, Sandra Bland, Amadou Diallo, Kathryn Johnston, Trayvon Martin, and Mike Brown.

Even though the 2020 presidential election is over a year away, hip-hop artists and other celebrities are teaming up to (quite literally) rock the vote. TIDAL recently announced the 5^th annual “TIDAL X” benefit concert, TIDAL X Rock the Vote. The event will take place on Monday, October 21st at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, and will be hosted by Angie Martinez and Clarissa Molina. It will feature performances from Alicia Keys, Farruko, French Montana, Becky G, G-Eazy, Ty Dolla $ign, and many more.

The concert serves as the kick off to a long term partnership between TIDAL and Rock the Vote to support voter registration, education, and rights.

Since its founding in 1990, Rock the Vote has served as a nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to building the political power of young people. The organization was originally created in partnership with MTV response to the censorship of hip-hop and rap artists.

Even before fighting for the right to vote, women throughout the United States had to fight for the right to the same public educational opportunities as men. Many of the local education spending initiatives would impact special public school programs- including the arts, making it crucial for hip-hop fans and other supporters of the arts to register and vote every year that they can.

Hot Girl Summer is officially about to get hotter. Meg The Stallion teased a sample of her song “Hot Girl Summer” on Instagram.

Earlier this week, Meg The Stallion announced that she, Nicki Minaj, and Ty Dolla Sign have joined forces to bring us, “Hot Girl Summer.” In an Instagram post that showcases Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj straddling a Hennessy bottle surrounded by fire Meg says, “Real MF hot girl sh!t. The hot girls took over the mf summer so it was only right to give the hotties the official track. “

The song was supposed to drop last Friday, August 2 but ended up being pushed back to Agust 9 but Meg promises the song is “worth the wait.”

“Hotties,” she said in a tweet, “I know I said my song Hot Girl Summer would be dropping tomorrow but now it’s dropping 08/09. I promise its worth the wait.”

A Meg and Nicki track doesn’t come as a surprise. Fans have been anticipating  this since Meg praised Nicki on IG live referring to Nicki as the “mother**kin GOAT.”

We have no doubt that “Hot Girl Summer” will become the official summertime anthem.

With his forthcoming Indigo slated to drop on June 28, Chris Brown has announced the dates for his Indigoat tour that will take over the latter half of the summer.

Joining Breezy on the run across the nation will be Tory Lanez, Ty Dolla $ign, Joyner Lucas and Yella Beezy.

The arena tour will kick off at the Moda Center in Portland on August 20 and finish in Anaheim’s Honda Center on October 19. In between the two, the artists will be stopping in Chicago, Houston, St. Louis, Washington D.C., Brooklyn and more.

Chris Brown recently released the latest taste of his album, “No Guidance,” which is the long-awaited collaboration between him and Drake. Upon its release, it was dubbed by Breezy as the song of the summer and has shot up the iTunes charts.
